Becoming an Anti-Racist Faith Community

BYM Initiatives to Undo Racism & Transform Ourselves

As Quakers, we are ever striving to live into Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's dream of the beloved community. Throughout history, Quakers have struggled with the call to racial equity and justice - sometimes leading with moral courage and other times stumbling. In 2016, Baltimore Yearly Meeting Minuted our Commitment to Becoming an Anti-Racist Faith Community, and we have a number of ongoing projects to help us live into this commitment.
