Baltimore Yearly Meeting is pleased to include on our website an abbreviated edition of Robert Barclay's chapter on Worship -- which joins a few publications (including James Nalyor's Milk for Babes) The editor's note explains:
This is an edited version of the Eleventh Proposition of An Apology for the True Christian Divinity by Robert Barclay (about one-quarter of the length of the original). The purpose of the editing was to come up with a version that would be short enough for most people to read. This is an important text, because it provides guidance for Quaker worship. I have focused on those parts of the text which provide a description of and guidance for Meeting for Worship
