Sunday, October 1 marks World Quaker Day, the day where we Friends celebrate worldwide our different ways of worship, traditions, and practices. This year's theme is Gathering in Worship around the World. For more information, visit www.worldquakerday.org.

Charleston Friends Meeting (LEYM) will be hosting the annual gathering of Friends from across West Virginia. The speaker will be Michael Birkel of the Earlham School of Religion, speaking about Letter Writing of Early Quakers. He will also do a breakout session on meditative reading of Scripture.
