Looking for a chance to reconnect with the simplicity of nature after the Holiday rush? Come to Friends Wilderness Center on January 13th for a day of arts and crafting in a cozy cabin in the woods. Bring your own project or come and learn a new skill. There will be plenty of room for sewing, spinning, knitting, crocheting, drawing and painting. Featuring spinning wheel and weaving demonstrations, as well as knitting and crochet lessons. Event starts at 10am and ends at 5pm. Accommodations are available for those wishing to stay the night, but you must make a reservation ahead of time. Costs: Program fee is by donation (suggested donation $15 to cover materials); Lunch costs $10. Please RSVP to Sheila Bach to reserve a spot for this program and let her know at that time if you would like to have a prepared lunch.
