The first part of this program will be focus on poetry with published poet, Janet Harrison. Janet will share some of her own work and encourages others to bring poems they would like to share (their own or others) and also provide exercises that will allow all participants to tap into their inner poet and craft some verse of their own using easily applied techniques. Then there will be a break for conversation, fellowship and dinner followed by the second part of the program: sky-watching led by astronomer, Kevin Bowles who will give you a guided tour of the night sky (weather permitting) and views through his powerful telescope.
