Come learn basic peace, non-violent conflict resolution, and social justice skills in a community setting through experiential learning. HIPP combines serious reflection with energetic, fun activities, creating a balance that engages people. Presenter Courtney Burkey is a Help Increase the Peace Program trainer. She founded and directed the Jamaica Peace Education Program based on HIPP curriculum in partnership with the Rotary Club of Savanna la Mar, Jamaica. She is Restorative Justice facilitator for Northern Virginia Mediation Service's Restorative Justice Project in partnership with Fairfax County Public Schools.
