Friends in southwestern Virginia will meet again on April 28 for their annual Blue Ridge Gathering. This year the site will be Blacksburg Friends Meeting, and the Gathering will be from 10am to 4pm. Invited Meetings are Abingdon, Blacksburg, Fancy Gap, Floyd, Lynchburg, Maury River and Roanoke, though Friends from any Meetings are welcome. Max Carter of Guilford College will be the keynote speaker. A Young Friends program for babies through teens will be available.
