A reunion for former Camp Celo campers, parents, and staff, and interested Friends and families, will celebrate this Quaker summer farm camp located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Mary Lane of Adelphi invites BYM families and friends on Feb. 24 at Sidwell Friends School, sponsored by Friends of Camp Celo. Friends of Camp Celo supports a ministry of the family-run Camp to serve children who otherwise would be unable to share the Quaker values implicit in the Celo experience. Sidwell’s scheduled Meeting for Worship is from 11 a.m. to noon. Then the Celo gathering just down the hall from 3 to 5 p.m. Ample free parking, direct bus and Metro service, plenty of places to eat within walking distance.
