Father Sean McManus has deep roots in the conflict and subsequent peace in Northern Ireland. He arrived in the US in 1972 and founded the Irish National Caucus, a lobby group that campaigned for the US adoption of the Macbride Principles, a code of conduct for companies doing business in Northern Ireland.
